Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats’ volleyball team wrapped up regular season play on Thursday with a sweep over St. Edmond 3-0 to clinch an outright North Central Conference title.
Humboldt won in straight sets 25-20, 25-8, 25-18 to record their 21st win of the season, the first time the program has reached more than 20 wins since 2021. The win also gave the program their first undefeated NCC slate since 2021 and is their second consecutive conference title.
The team wrapped up the 2024 regular season at 21-9 (7-0 NCC) and will begin postseason play on Tuesday, hosting Garner-Hayfield-Ventura in the first round of the 3A-Region 2 bracket. First serve is at 7:00 p.m.
