Livermore, IA – Multiple fire crews responded to a barn fire Saturday afternoon six miles south of the city of Livermore in Humboldt County.
At 3:57 p.m. Saturday, the Humboldt County Law Enforcement Center received a call of a barn fire at 1647 Michigan Ave. in rural Livermore. Humboldt Fire Department Chief Jim Gronbach says an ember from burning a grove on the property around the acreage set the barn ablaze.
Chief Gronbach says fire crews were on scene for three and a half hours before giving the all-clear.
No injuries were reported on scene and the barn was a total loss.
Assisting on scene was the Humboldt Fire Department, Livermore Fire Department, Bode Fire Department, Humboldt EMS, and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
