Dakota City, IA – Livermore mayor Billie Scott was in attendance at the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors session Monday morning to discuss funding for the Livermore swimming pool and county-wide recycling funding.

As with previous years, Scott says the city is requesting funds for help toward the city’s swimming pool.

Scott says the City of Livermore received $1,600 last year from the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.

County-wide recycling started in the late 1990s in Humboldt County with the county providing $15,000 in funding, $11,000 toward the City of Humboldt’s efforts, and $400 per small community throughout the rest of the county. Discussion on possible changes in funding were recommended by Scott and the Board of Supervisors said they would review the policy at a later time.
