Dakota City, IA – The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors (BOS) held discussion with the Webster County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday morning regarding their memorandum of understanding with each other over holding joint meetings on joint tile district repairs.

Humboldt County wanted to raise their threshold for holding joint meetings to repairs over $15,000, an agreement that is already in place with Wright County. Kossuth County had balked at the idea in an earlier meeting and there is no figure set for Pocahontas County currently.

After a motion failed for a $15,000 threshold was made, a compromise of $10,000 was passed unanimously by the Humboldt County BOS and in a 3-1 vote by the Webster County BOS.
