Humboldt, IA – A local establishment in Humboldt celebrated their 40th Anniversary in business on Saturday.
V&S Variety Store in downtown Humboldt came into business in 1985 and co-owner Jim Crabtree gave his take on the secret to the store’s success for 40 years.
Jim Crabtree co-owns the store with his wife Joyce Crabtree who reflected on the scores of loyal patrons who showed up for the anniversary celebration.
The celebration was held from 9 am to 5pm Saturday with numerous vendors on hand to help with the celebration.
