Second shooting reported in Fort Dodge this week

Fort Dodge, IA – Fort Dodge Police are investigating a second shooting this week that took place Wednesday night.

At approximately 8:49 p.m., the Webster County Telecommunications Center received a call of shots fired in the area of the 1300 Blk. 8th Ave. S., in Fort Dodge.

Officers on scene found evidence indicating shots had been fired along with property damage to multiple objects, but no injuries. Information regarding the shooting can be directed to Fort Dodge Police or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

It’s the second shooting Fort Dodge Police have responded to this week after a 36-year-old man was shot on Sunday. Police are looking for 22-year-old Davontrez Raeshaun McCuddin of Fort Dodge on an attempted murder charge in that shooting.
