Fort Dodge, IA – Fort Dodge Police are investigating a Sunday evening stabbing incident that left one man injured.
According to the Fort Dodge Police Department, at approximately 7:56 p.m. Sunday, the Webster County Telecommunications Center received a call that a male that had been stabbed at 915 3rd Ave. N., in Fort Dodge.
On scene, officers located a male with a stab wound to the abdomen and rendered aid to him until Fort Dodge Fire arrived on scene and took over. The male was transported to Unity Point Trinity Regional Hospital by ambulance. The condition of the victim as of Sunday night was unknown.
The Criminal Investigations Division are investigating the stabbing. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact the Fort Dodge Police and information may also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
