Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt girls’ golf team had a runner-up finish at the Humboldt Country Club in their North Central Conference Triangular Friday night.
Humboldt had a team score of 225, finishing behind Algona with a 204 and ahead of Clarion Goldfield Dows with a 239. Algona’s Ella Welp was the meet medalist with a nine-hole round score of a 49. Humboldt’s top performer was Salem Bomstetter, who finished tied for fourth with a 53.
The Humboldt girls’ golf team is back in action at Veterans Memorial Golf Club in Clear Lake on Monday for a North Central Conference Triangular against Webster City and Clear Lake. The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m.
