Humboldt, IA – Humboldt Community Schools will provide one final opportunity for community members to walk through the old middle school building before it is demolished.
Superintendent Ryan Fedders says the building will be open Sunday, October 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. for former students, staff and community members to take one last look inside.
Fedders says the event is not a continuation of the surplus sale held last month. Instead, it is intended to give people an opportunity to revisit the building and the memories associated with it before demolition.
The old middle school is scheduled to be torn down following the final walk-through.
