Flooring Apprentice / Warehouse Operator
Jim’s Carpet One is seeking a motivated, reliable individual to join our team as a Flooring Apprentice /
Warehouse Operator. This is a full-time position offering hands-on experience in both flooring installation and
warehouse operations, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile flooring.
Receive, inspect, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory.
Load and unload flooring materials and supplies.
Prepare customer orders and installation materials for daily jobs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
Deliver materials to job sites and customers as required.
Assist customers with loading products and warehouse pickups.
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
Ability to lift, carry, and move flooring materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Previous experience in flooring, construction, warehousing, or material handling is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
