Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat girls’ track team, racing just for the second time this season, earned a home victory over the likes of Algona, Southeast Valley and Webster City, yesterday.

Humboldt sophomore Bryce Gidel was a double individual winner earning first place in both the 1500m run and the 3000m run. Lauren Erickson took home a first in the 800m, as well.
The Wildcats’ 4×400 team ended proceedings with a come from behind victory with Gidel nabbing Algona’s Molly McCauley in the final quarter.
