Car Show Helps Benefit Relay for Life

Humboldt, Iowa —The third annual Cruisin’ for a Cure Car Show was held Saturday at Humboldt Hy-Vee. The proceeds all went towards Relay for Life.

According to their website, the car show has been in operation serving various communities since 2000, with over 3,500 car entries.

The proceeds Saturday, after expenses, totaled $1,522, which were directly donated back to Relay for Life which is a community based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 5,000 Relay For Life events take place in over twenty countries.
