Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt boys soccer team lost last night 4-1 to Hudson.
The Cats kept it close through most of the first half but two late goals made it 3-1 in favor of Hudson at halftime.
Hudson scored a spectacular direct goal from a corner kick that ricocheted in off the post.
The Humboldt defense tightened up in the 2nd half but with 4 starters out with suspension & injury, the Cats struggled all night generating offense. Alex Gonzalez got the lone Humboldt goal.
The next game home sees Humboldt battling Webster City on Friday.
It will be their final regular season match.
