Humboldt, Iowa — With rain in the area for much of last night, Humboldt’s planned Fourth of July fireworks were suspended until tonight (Thursday).
According to local officials the fireworks will go off at 10:00 p.m. this evening from their usual location, the Humboldt County Fairgrounds.
Other than mother nature, it was remarkably splendid holiday with children and families lining Sumner Avenue for the parade.
Ninety-plus floats were in the parade, per the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.
