Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat volleyball team, currently #13 in Class 3A will take their talents to Algona tonight for a battle with the always tough Bulldogs.
Coached by the long-time great Shelly TerHark, Algona always plays Humboldt tough — regardless of rankings, record and players.
Humboldt is coming off a 2-0 night, Tuesday, sweeping both Manson-NW-Webster and Storm Lake to improve to 8-1 on the young season.
The Wildcats lone loss on the campaign came to the hands #1 Carroll Kuemper.
First serve is set for 7:30 p.m. this evening in Algona.
JV and Freshman will open up play this evening at 6:00 p.m.
