Humboldt, IA – Possible injuries reported after an SUV rolls in a four way intersection Wednesday Evening.
Officer Susan Rutz reports a two car incident on Wednesday, July 8 at the intersection of 10th Avenue North and 10th Street North. The report says Harold Schuchman, 88, of Humboldt was east bound on 10th Ave. N as Lisa Murray, 50, of Humboldt waited to turn west. Murray says she saw a minivan coming and thought she was clear to turn. As she turned she struck the side of Schuchmann’s silver GMC Terrain with the front of her gray Honda Odyssey, causing the Terrain to roll and come to a stop on its top.
The action resulted in severe damages to the Terrain that was towed from the scene and minor damages to the Odyssey that was driven away. Officer Rutz reports that Schuchmann and his passenger were transported from the scene with possible injuries.
