Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt County Conservation Board is increasing the rental rates at the campgrounds.
During a recent meeting of the county’s conservation board they held discussion on the rates for their rental cabin’s and campsite. All board members were present for these discussions.
The previous rates for a cabin were $75 a night. The board made the motion to increase the rate to $100 a night, feeling that the previous rate was too low after their discussions. The board also set the rates for a seasonal campsite. The seasonal rate will start $1,750 for a campsite with water and electrical hookups. The rates for a campsite with full hookup that includes water, electric and also sewer will be $2,250.
The Humboldt County Conservation Board approved both the nightly cabin rental rate and the seasonal campsite rates unanimously. The rates will go into effect at the start of the 2021 camping season.
