54 new COVID-19 cases, 235 recoveries, in Humboldt County from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6

Humboldt County, IA – Public Health is reporting a total of 43 active COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as the total case count reaches 827.

In looking at the COVID-19 numbers for the county from Monday Nov. 30 through Sunday Dec. 6, Humboldt County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health have reported a total of 54 new cases over the course of the week. The county’s total case count is now up to 827.

Here is how the total positive cases break down by age:

  • 99 are in the 0-17 age range (five new).
  • 263 are in the 18-40 age range (18 new).
  • 238 are in the 41-60 age range (14 new).
  • 170 are in the 61-80 age range (14 new).
  • 57 are in the 81+ age category (three new).

Additional information provided from the states coronavirus.iowa.gov shows the Humboldt County positivity rate as 20.4 percent over the past 14 days.
