Humboldt police chief looking for community input

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt’s new police chief is looking forward to hearing from community during three listening sessions.

Joel Sanders of the Humboldt Police Department will be holding three separate one hour long listening sessions this week. These forums are open to everyone in the public.

During these sessions Sanders is providing Humboldt’s citizens, organizations and stakeholders to come in and share what each appreciates about the department. They are also welcome to voice any concerns they have or asks questions.

The first listening session is Tuesday from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Humboldt Community Center. The second session is Wednesday from 8 am to 9 am at Millers Landing. The final one is held at 716 Main on Thursday from noon to 1 pm.

Police Chief Sanders says all are welcome to come and share. He looks forward to hearing from the community.
