Humboldt to hire consulting firm to lead city adminstrator search Monday

Humboldt, IA -Humboldt City Council is holding a special meeting Monday to choose a consultant to hire the next city administrator of Humboldt. Current City Administrator Travis Goedken has more.

Goedken says that after the selection of a consulting firm is made tonight, the city will work with the firm to determine a timeline on hiring a new city administrator.

 The Council will also consider a street closure request and vendor fee waiver request from Cory Larson of Voltage Ink for car shows on September 12th and October 8th, and a main street cruise. Voltage ink has also requested a street closure for a Lighted Christmas Parade on November 27th.  The council is also expected to approve a request for proposals for an airport consultant.

The meeting is at 5:30 on Monday at the Humboldt Municipal Building.
