Humboldt Girls’ Track finishes second, wins three events

Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats’ Girls’ Track team hosted a meet at Mason Maach Field in Humboldt. The girls’ team finished in second in the team standings with a score of 136 in the meet, falling short to Pocahontas Area High School who won the meet with 141 points. The girls won a total of three events.

The team standings for the event were as follows:

  1. Pocahontas Area – 141
  2. Humboldt – 136
  3. St. Edmond, Fort Dodge – 101
  4. Estherville Lincoln-Central – 90
  5. Hampton-Dumont-CAL – 86
  6. Southeast Valley – 77
  7. Webster City – 67

The Humboldt Girls’ Track team will have their next meet on Thursday at Storm Lake High School. The meet is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
