Minburn, IA – A Fort Dodge man died Sunday night in Dallas County after rolling the ATV he was driving on a gravel road.
Dallas County Sheriff say that 32-year-old Sean Springer died in the ATV crash just north of Minburn with a female passenger sustaining minor injuries.
Springer and the female passenger were riding the ATV northbound on U.S. Highway 169 just north of Minburn at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, when Springer turned eastbound on 170th St. Springer is said to have lost control of the vehicle on the gravel road and the ATV ended up in the ditch. Springer passed away at the scene.
Dallas County Sherriff believe that speed and alcohol were a factor in the crash.
