Humboldt Co., IA – Humboldt County has been placed under a burn ban as of 2:00 p.m. and will remain under the burn ban until further notice.
Humboldt County EMA Director Kyle Bissell released a press release stating that current conditions warranted for a ban being in place. Any violation of the proclamation order is a simple misdemeanor.
Additionally, the City of Humboldt says that the burn day scheduled for Saturday, April 15 will not be held due to conditions.
