Garner, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats boys soccer team won a 3-0 battle at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Monday night to remain perfect on the 2023 season.
The Cats jumped out to a three goal lead in the first half and did not look back, with goals scored by Will Orness, Reyes Falcon and Trever Beach. Christhian Ramirez got two assists, Carter Westre assisted with a corner kick and Falcon added an assist, passing to Ramirez who passed to Orness. The Wildcats led 3-0 at the half and would hold on to defeat the Cardinals for another victory.
With the win, Humboldt is now 5-0 (5-0 NCC) and hosts Storm Lake today at 5:00 p.m. at the Humboldt High School Soccer Field.
