(KHBT) – National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The DEA’s Emily Murray says it’s a good time to clear out those unused prescription drugs to make sure they don’t get misused.
Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger says there will be a drop box at the Humboldt Law Enforcement Center, located at 430 Sumner Ave. in Humboldt, for people to dispose of their unused medications.
Sheriff Kruger says they will also take back vaping devices and cartridges, but to make sure to remove the lithium battery. You can find a full list of sites to take back your prescription drugs at TakeBackDay.com.
