Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt girls soccer team fell 3-1 to the Ballard Bombers in non-conference action from the Humboldt High School Soccer Field Friday night.
The Bombers took a 2-0 lead at the half against the Wildcats in the wind and rain and the Cats would eventually narrow the deficit to 1 goal with a goal by Lily Allison. The Wildcats had multiple opportunities to tie, but a late Ballard goal would seal the victory for the Bombers. With the loss, the wildcats fall to 6-4 overall.
Humboldt girls soccer resumes conference Both the boys and girls soccer teams resume next week against Hampton-Dumont-CAL.
