Humboldt, IA – The Back to School Bash held by the Humboldt Food Pantry is returning July 11 of this year. Danielle Rees, the Outreach Specialist at the Humboldt Food Pantry and UDMO, says donation boxes have already been placed at locations for the collection of items.

“There will be blue donation boxes placed at First State Bank and Springvale Independent Living,” Rees said.

Rees says in addition to the two locations, you can also donate items for school supplies at the Humboldt Food Pantry Building located at 419 Sumner Ave. in Humboldt. The collection of items will last until July 3 for the event on July 11. The Back to school bash will be held from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds with food and live music along with magician Larry Dunbar performing.

Rees says the pantry is also taking applications for those in need of supplies from the event at the Humboldt Food Pantry.
