Humboldt Co., IA – With the corn in Iowa growing taller in the month of July, safety has become a priority with intersections in rural parts of Humboldt County. Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger says drivers should be vigilant when approaching intersections filled with corn, commonly known as corn corners.

Sheriff Kruger also says drivers should be aware of farm vehicles out in the county.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office says practicing these safe habits will keep you safe when driving this summer.
