Dakota City, IA – The first day of in-person voting for the 2024 General Election in Humboldt County is quickly approaching.
The first day you can do so is Wednesday, Oct. 16 in the Humboldt County Auditor’s Office. Absentee ballots will also start to be mailed out on that date. The deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed out is Monday, Oct. 21. That day is also the deadline for pre-registration to vote, although you can still vote early after Monday, you will just need additionally documents to prove your address.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 5.
