Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Fourth of July Parade is a week from this Friday as organizers continue to prepare for the annual event.
Doug Vinsand is an organizer for this year’s parade and says this year’s event will be much like the parades held in the past.
He says it would be a good idea to line up early if your are in the parade.
Vinsand says there is still room for more entries, although the deadline is approaching.
The Fourth of July parade will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday July 4. After the parade, a fireworks show will be lit off from the fairgrounds at 10 p.m. with patriotic music played on KHBT during the display.
