HHS homecoming week set for this week

Humboldt, IA – This week is the start of Humboldt High School’s homecoming week.

As is the case every year, students in the district will get to participate in spirit week, which features a theme for students to dress in for each day of the week. This week’s schedule includes:

Monday, Sept. 22 – Mathletes vs Athletes
Tuesday, Sept. 23 – Teen Beach (Bikers vs. Surfers)
Wednesday, Sept. 24 – Why’s this in my wardrobe?
Thursday, Sept. 25 – Throwback (80’s)
Friday, Sept. 26 – Blue and Gold

Humboldt High School’s homecoming parade and coronation are scheduled for Thursday, September 25. The candidates for homecoming were released last week.

The homecoming football game is set for Friday, September 26 as Humboldt (2-2) hosts Webster City (1-3) for the 108th meeting between the two schools. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m. at Mason Maach Field.
