Humboldt Hardpack returns this Saturday

Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Hardpack Bike Ride returns for another year this Saturday, September 20, at 9 a.m.

This year’s ride starts in downtown Humboldt and goes to Bradgate and back on the beautiful Three Rivers Trail. Cyclist will start at Boldt Nutrition and head east on Sumner Avenue to the Three Rivers Trail. The Humboldt City Police, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, and Humboldt County Memorial Hospital will be on hand to support safety along the ride.

Nuts Landing in Rutland will open early for riders. The Bradgate Fire Department will sell snacks and provide beer for a free will donation.
At the end of ride, TractorLift Brewery will have live music from Carter Theesfeld, Texas Toast and Tots will be on hand to refuel hungry riders.

Along with the Humboldt Hardpack Bike Ride on September 20, organizers will hold a raffle to support enhancements to the Three Rivers Trail. Ticket holders need not be present to win. Prizes include an electric bike, an electric grill, a fishing cooler, laser hair removal, and other great merchandise and gift cards from local supporters. Tickets are on sale at Night Owl Bookstore and TractorLift Brewery. Tickets cost 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.

Humboldt County Conservation Board staff members will draw the winners at TractorLift Brewery,1 PM on ride day, Saturday, September 20.
