The LuVerne Firemen’s Annual Fall Supper is this Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 at the LuVerne Community Center. $12 adults, $4 kids six to 12. American Legion Post 415 of Livermore is hosting a “Veterans Ride” October 8th, sign up will be 10:00-11:00am with a Fee of $25 per bike/vehicle. The ride will leave Livermore at 11:15am and ride to the following places: VFW – Dakota City, Rails – Eagle Grove, Blue Moose – Renwick, American Legion – Corwith, Flipside & Handlebar – LuVerne then return around 5:30pm for a meal and entertainment by Jeremy Ober from 7-9pm. Fall is here and that means it’s time for the Humboldt County Democratic “Old Time Stew Supper.” Mark your calendars for October 21st from 5-7pm at the VFW in Dakota City. Come enjoy Old Time Stew Supper, along with homemade bread and fresh baked pies. Vegan Options are also available. Cost is just ten dollars for adults and Kids 10 and under just five dollars. Eat in, Carry-Out and Curbside service is available. Tickets available from Kathy Eck at 332-4749 or at the door. That’s October 21st from 5-7pm at the VFW in Dakota City for the Humboldt County Democratic Old Time Stew Supper.
Humboldt County Pheasants Forever 2022 Pheasant Hunt is October 29, 2022, from 12-6pm at The Red Lantern in Bode. There will be a raffle for 12 guns, tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100, Tickets can be purchased at: Red Lantern in Bode, Enduring Freedom in Dakota City, or Call Doug Vinsand (515)954-0449 or any Pheasants Forever member listed on the flyer.
