Join the Humboldt Fire & Rescue for their Annual Pancake Breakfast on October 8th from 7am-12:00 pm at the Humboldt Fire Station. Breakfast includes Sausage, eggs, and Pancakes for a Free Will donation. All proceeds will go to the purchase of new equipment for the Fire Department.

Springvale Farms 18th Annual Pumpkins & Ponies, Sat. Oct. 14th 10am- 4pm and Sun. Oct. 15th 11am – 4:30pm. Free Admission & Free Parking at 2603 Lone Tree Road in Humboldt. Wagon rides to pumpkin patch to pick from many sizes and varieties. On Saturday only enjoy Free Music by the Ned Freeley Fun Band, Pony Rides and Face Painting as well as other Attractions, Activities and Vendors for Sat. and Sun.
The Heather Applegate Fundraiser Auction will be Saturday Oct. 14th held at Creekside Restaurant at Lizard Creek Ranch 1762 Johnson Ave. in Fort Dodge. Viewing starts at 2pm Auction starts at 4pm. All proceeds will go to medical expenses and travel expenses.

PocaHAUNTus will be Oct. 20th, 21st, 27th & 28th at the Fire Station, 300 NW 7th St., in Pocahantas. The Haunted House will open from 6-7pm with lights on, and 7-10pm with lights off. Admission is $10 per person or $8 with a canned food item for the local food pantry. Proceeds support both the Pocahontas Chamber & Pocahontas Fire Dept.
