“Little Town on the Prairie” Towns of Humboldt County Part 2:  Livermore Program
This program is the eighth in the “Little Town on the Prairie” Towns of Humboldt County Program series. Explore the history of Livermore and the people who created the town. Saturday, Aug 3rd at 2:00pm in the Clancy Classroom, at the Humboldt Co Historical Museum.  Admission: $5.00 for adults over 18 and children 18 and under are free.

Triumph Ministries is back in Fort Dodge from Thursday, Aug 15 – Saturday, Aug 17^th, 7pm nightly.  Come join revival nights with Pastor Nancy James at 2175 180^th Street in Fort Dodge.

St. Joe Knights of Columbus are holding their 68^th Annual Mulligan Stew Dinner Wed. August 21^st  from 5-7pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe, IA.  The dinner is a dine-in or drive-thru for stew only, pie and ice cream will be served for dessert with dine-in.  The price is $10 for 2 pints of stew.

This is a Garage Sale Fundraiser for Lazy J Rescue Ranch during the Highway 3 Corridor Yard Sales.  It will be at Lazy J Rescue Ranch, a local animal rescue/sanctuary dedicated to providing a forever home for animals with complex medical issues, special needs, and for those who have been abused, neglected, or forced to feel unloved.

Contact Lazy J Ranch if you are interested in donating items for the sale.  We will begin accepting donations the week of August 5th.
Donated items typically include :  household/kitchen supplies, decorations, office supplies, kids toys, adult and kids clothing of varying sizes, tools, antiques,  camping/outdoor supplies and more!

And as Always, all proceeds go directly towards specialized, nutritious diets for each animal, quality vet care, animal enrichment activities, safe shelter, and rescue expenses.

RAIN OR SHINE!  IN THE EVENT OF RAIN IT WILL BE HELD IN THE HARDY CHURCH.

Please join us for an evening learning about helping to reduce pollinator decline with native plantings. Our speakers this year will be Sarah Nizzi with the Xerces Society and Kelsey Wigans, owner of Iowa Family Gardening Homestead. We will also be recognizing local producers for their contributions to conservation in Humboldt County.
Bring your lawn chairs, sit back in the shade, and enjoy dinner on us while learning about how to support pollinators in Humboldt County. All ages are welcome!

Goldfield Fire Department Burger Fundraiser will be this Friday August 30^th from 11am – 1:30pm.  They will be located on Highway 3 on the west side of town in front of Out of the Attic.  A single patty burger, chips and water for $8 and a double patty burger, chips and water for $10.  Come out and support the Goldfield Fire Department.
