Humboldt County Pheasants Forever 2024 Banquet will be April 13^th at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds, doors open at 4pm.  Tickets at the door are $75 and kids 16 and under are free.  Tickets include a steak dinner, and a cash bar will be available.  Join the Humboldt Pheasants Forever chapter for a family friendly night of great food & fun.

Nestle Purina PetCare presents the 40th Anniversary Fur Ball benefiting the ALMOST HOME HUMANE SOCIETY of North Central Iowa on Saturday, April 13, 2024, hosted by the Fort Dodge Lincoln Toyota Dealership.  Doors open at 6pm and the event runs to 10pm,  Tickets may be purchased at:  Almost Home Humane Society or www.almosthomeiowa.org, The Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota Dealership, Mere Image Salon Hair Care and Esthetics, Candies and more, The Hy-Vee Fort Dodge & Humboldt Locations.   $20 in Advance, $25 at the door and $10 for guests under the age of 18
The event will be held at the Fort Dodge Lincoln Toyota Showroom, 2723 5th Ave South, Fort Dodge, IA 50501.  Dinner is from Amigos in Fort Dodge, Cash Bar, Live Entertainment- The Maurice Jules experience, Strolling Magic by Duffy Hudson, & K-9 Demonstration compliments of the Fort Dodge Police Dept., there will be a live auction as well as a silent auction with hard to find items like:  Tickets to see Taylor Swift in Vancouver, an Electric Guitar signed by all the members of the Rolling Stones, etc.

The Annual Humboldt-Dakota City Kiwanis Club Roast Beef Dinner is Thursday April 18^th from 4-7pm at the Zion Lutheran Church.  Dine-in or Drive-up will be offered. Tickets are $15 and are available from any Kiwanis member or at the door.  They will be serving Roast Beef Sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, and dessert.  The Kiwanis Club appreciates the continued Community Support, as the proceeds go towards the Children of our Community.

Zion Lutheran Church Garage Sale will be, Friday April 26^th from 3-7pm and Saturday April 27^th from 8am-noon.  FREEWILL donations for all items!  Coffee/Treats Saturday morning.  Please come and support Zion Lutheran Church at 1005 11^th Ave N. in Humboldt.

Mobile Food Bank Drive Thru at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds will be Wednesday May 8^th, 2024, from 4:30 -6:00pm or until food is gone.  Please tell your neighbors, everyone is welcome.

Livermore Test and Tune Truck Pull 2024 will be Saturday, May 11^th @ 1pm.  Located on the East side of the Gold Eagle Coop in Livermore.  Pits open @ noon, $ 20 per hook, Free admission for spectators.  All Trucks, All Classes, All Associations Welcome, proceeds go to support the Livermore Fire Department.
