Wagon rides to pumpkin patch to pick from many sizes and varieties. PocaHAUNTus will be Oct. 20th, 21st, 27th & 28th at the Fire Station, 300 NW 7th St., in Pocahantas. The Haunted House will open from 6-7pm with lights on, and 7-10pm with lights off. Admission is $10 per person or $8 with a canned food item for the local food pantry. Proceeds support both the Pocahontas Chamber & Pocahontas Fire Dept.

St. Mary’s Fall Festival, Broasted Chicken Dinner at the St. Mary’s Church on Sunday October 29th, Drive Thru will be 10:30am – 12:30pm and for Inside Seating 11:00 – 1:00pm. Dinner tickets are available at Humboldt Engraving and the Parish Office, Adults-$12.50, Children 4-8yrs-$5, 3 and under are free. The Dinner is: Broasted Chicken, Mashed Potatoes/gravy, Corn, Coleslaw/Applesauce, Dinner Roll and Homemade Pie or Bar. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Humboldt Sno-Skimmers are having their membership supper Friday Nov. 10, at River Valley Orchards. Social hour begins at 6pm with the meal served at 7pm.
