St. Mary’s School Board Soup Supper

St. Mary’s School Board Soup Supper will be Jan. 27th following  the 5pm Mass in the Parish Hall.  They will be serving Chili with cinnamon roll and Chicken Noodle Soup with a scotcheroo for a Free Will Donation.  They will not be offering a Drive-thru but will have come in and get it to go available.  All funds will go towards scholarships for graduating seniors.   For more information call the school office at 515-332-2134.

Emergency Empty The Shelters Zero Cost Adoption Event

The Bissel Pet Foundation has partnered with the Almost Home Humane Society.  To provide an Emergency Empty The Shelters zero cost adoption event in response to a puppy mill rescue.  The Almost Home Humane Society located at 725 South 32nd Street. February 1-10, 2024 – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 12-6 PM: Saturday 11-4 pm. Other days and times by appointment only.  There are no adoption fees during this event but there must be a completed and approved adoption application on file. The screening process can take a few days to complete so it is important to get applications in as early as possible. Adoption applications can be filled out through the website www.almosthomeiowa.org or onsite at the shelter listed above.

Humboldt County Pheasants Forever 2024 15th Annual Coyote Hunt & Raccoon Roundup

Humboldt County Pheasants Forever 15th Annual Coyote Hunt/Raccoon Roundup with gun Raffle will be Saturday February 3rd.  The Coyote/Raccoon drop off will be at 4pm, 6:30pm attend a Free Will donation meal sponsored by Humboldt County Pheasants Forever Committee at Humboldt Fairgrounds.  Raffle will be following the meal with 22 Guns being drawn worth over $11,000.  Raffle Tickets are 1 for $20 or 6 for $100 sign up now.   Registration will be Friday February 2nd from 6pm–9pm, at Amigo’s, Blue Moose, Dom’s Cafe, Enduring Freedom, Flipside, Knotty Pine, Knuckleheads, Nuts Landing, Peps, and Red Lantern.     For further Information contact:  Dave Erdman at (515) 341-6477.

A Cancer Benefit for Tonya Bockoven-Hicks will be Sat.
