Humboldt, Iowa – Humboldt City Clerk Gloria Christensen is preaching patience with garbage pickup this week.
With the ice storm causing troubling delays, Christensen said that garbage pickup may be slower than in previous weeks.
If the temperatures do rise as expected towards the end of the week, then garbage pickup could pick up steam. Until then, the trucks are exercising caution.
