Algona, Iowa – The Humboldt Wildcat varsity wrestling team took fourth place at this past weekend’s North Central Conference wrestling tournament.
Webster City dethroned and ended Clarion-Goldfield-Dows two year run as conference champions taking home the gold this year.
Humboldt 145-pounder Jaden Kampen took home a first place medal, while Sophomore Joey Busse and Senior Gus Arnold each finished with second place finishes.
Finishing ahead of Humboldt was the aforementioned Webster City, as well as Clarion-Goldfield and Algona.
