Humboldt, Iowa – The Humboldt School Board has made it official. At Monday’s board proceedings, the group accepted a the bid of $333,007.35 for the High School Track Improvements Project.
The project was awarded to Iowa Athletic Field Construction Company.
It is expected that the project will begin this summer. The motion was carried unanimously.
The school board also approved the time for a public hearing on the Taft Elementary School Addition and Remodel Project. The date will be March 13th, 2017 at 5:05 p.m.
There was also a approval for bed letting to be had for the purchase of new school buses for the district. Humboldt is looking at adding two new school buses. The board will act on the bids on March 16th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Both of those hearings will be at the Central Administration Office.
