Fort Dodge, Iowa — Sophomore forward Kendal Clark recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebound, but it was not enough as Fort Dodge Saint Edmond defeated Humboldt 39-35 in North Central Conference play.

Humboldt cut the lead to four after trailing by 7 entering the fourth quarter at 26-19, but the Gaels hit clutch free throws to salt the contest away.

Erin Flattery had 10 points and 5 boards to lead the way for the Gaels.

Jori Hajek added 8 points and 5 rebounds for the Cats, who now fall to 2-6 and 0-5 in the NCC.

The Wildcats will reset today, before taking on Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Thursday at home.

Tip-off is set for 6:15 p.m.
