Iowa Falls, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat girls’ basketball team dropped their second straight game as the #15 Iowa Falls-Alden Lady Cadets improved to 4-0 on the season, winning 58-33 last Friday night.

Humboldt kept the score close early, trailing 22-15 after one quarters and 30-19 at the break.

However, the Cadets firepower — on both ends — took over in half two, as Iowa Falls outscored Humboldt 28-14 in the final half.

Katie Meyer led the way for IF-A, tallying 19 points and 5 rebounds.

Darby Dodd and Grace Renaud each chipped in the 12 apiece.

The Wildcats are now 1-2 on the season and will be off until this Friday, when they’ll host Algona.

You can hear that game beginning at 5:45 p.m. right here on the Bolt.

Tip-time is scheduled for 6:15 p.m., Friday night.
