Humboldt, IA — Robert Monson, 20, of Humboldt was uninjured in a single car accident early Tuesday morning while traveling eastbound on Highway 3.
Due to bald tires and wet conditions Monson lost control and went into a nearby ditch where his car flipped 3.5 times before resting on the car’s roof. However, his vehicle was totaled. 2 citations were given: failure to maintain control and defective tires.
Monson was wearing his seat belt and both his front and side airbags deployed.
