Des Moines, IA — Governor Kim Reynolds has made waves in the news this week as she has done some overhaul to her staff.

Earlier in the year she appointed new state administrators along with a new director of the Iowa Department of Corrections earlier this month. To add to the change Reynolds even more Reynolds asked the director of the Iowa Department of Human Services Jerry Foxhoven to step down. When asked about the decision Reynolds says there were a lot of factors at play but wants to go in a different direction with her staff moving forward. According to O. Kay Henderson of Radio Iowa Reynolds was quoted she wants to promote a one team culture in the state government.

It’s expected that Reynolds will appoint a new director of personnel matters for the state government and a permanent director of the Department of Natural Resources as there is an interim manager currently in the position.
