Fort Dodge, IA — Jim Reed spoke to the public for the first time since the Shellabration came to a close this past Saturday.

Estimated crowd was the 5th highest mark for the event bringing in around 6800 people. Reed, president of Shellabration, says the event is a positive impact for the community as it continues to get bigger and better each year. The stage was the largest yet as they upped the dimensions from a 40×40 stage to a 60×40 for Sammy Hagar and the Circle.  Reed says as long as the weather cooperates the sky is the limit for the event as he has aspirations for an even bigger name for 2020 with the goal of bringing Journey to headline the event. Other rumored names are Def Leppard and Heart along with the aforementioned Journey.

The record crowd for Shellabration was in 2015 when Boston came to town and pulled in a crowd of 8200.
