Humboldt, IA — Agenda for the next Humboldt County Supervisors meeting has been released featuring visits from T.C. Loving of Boone Valley Watershed Authority, Solutions Inc. and County Engineer Ben Loots.

One important order of business is going to be the signing of required documents for a loan on the new cabins being built in Joe Sheldon Park. Back in June the county approved plans for two new 576 square foot buildings with two bedrooms and one bath to be built on the park grounds by the Humboldt High School Buildings Trades class.

Humboldt County Conservation Director Todd Lee is the one spearheading the project. Cost of the project for each building is approximately $60,000 and it would include sewer, water, and utilities. Ground is hoping to be broke for the cabins once school begins and to have the cabins ready for rent next year.
