Ames, IA — In a press release from the Iowa State athletic department, season tickets for Cyclone football this year has already reached a record high.
Currently, 43,570 season tickets have been sold for the 2019 football season, besting the previous record in 2013 by more than 300 tickets. Atheltic Director Jamie Pollard is excited for this mark to be hit but says that he wants to challenge the Cyclone fan base even more by going for 45,000 before single game tickets become available.
The new motto for Iowa State football this year is being used on all social media with the #ProveIt and Pollard has extended this call to the fan base. Single game tickets for Iowa State games go on sale on August 15th with the Cyclones opening up their 2019 season on the 31st against Northern Iowa at home.
Iowa State is picked to finish 3rd in the Big 12 and is #24 in the preseason coaches’ poll.
