Humboldt, IA — Today is the special election for the Ward 1 City Council seat.

Citizens of Ward 1 can make their way down to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and are able to vote from 7am to 8pm.

If an individual is trying to figure out if they live in Ward 1 to vote they can check their voter registration card or call the county auditor’s office to find out.

Matt Dominick is currently the only officially filed candidate on the ballot as any other individual will have to be entered via write-in.

Once again, this special election is for the Ward 1 seat of the Humboldt City Council and the term for the elected official is only until the end of the year. A full four year term election will be voted on this November.
