Fort Dodge, IA — Enrollment is now open for the 2020 Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight. Humboldt area veterans are encouraged to apply.
This is a free flight to Washington, D.C. where military veterans are invited to visit war memorials in the nation’s capital.
According to a press release from the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight, the board is now opening eligibility to peacetime veterans who served their country between World War II and the Korean War and those who served between the Korean War and the Vietnam War. WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War veterans will receive top priority. Veterans must submit an application to be eligible. Applications can be picked up at any local Veterans Services Office.
The Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight is scheduled to take off from Fort Dodge on May 9th and September 19th of next year.
